M.H. APPLETON is a Jamaican born African with a keen interest in African history and its future direction.
Currently residing in the United Kingdom, he has used his love of reading & writing to craft a story that portrays Africans beyond the stereotypical narratives as drug dealers and entertainers.
His debut novel The Hand of Menes, is his first instalment of THE HAND OF MENES series, which showcases the courage & resilience of a people as they fight to regain that which was stolen.
Certified as a Chartered Accountant, he spent most of his adult life in the accounting industry until he finally decided to pursue his dream as an author.
He currently resides with his wife in Birmingham. His major interests are: geopolitics; traveling to exotic locations to learn about different cultures; going to the cinema and of course reading.
